Contact P2P merchant
Contact P2P Merchant and ask them to submit a written statement on a stamp paper signed by a magistrate, this step is very IMPORTANT.
The written statement should mention that He (merchant) sent the amount on his own accord in exchange of goods. Ensure that the statement includes merchant full name, CNIC number and his bank account and your bank account and the amount which was sent.
Template Stamp Paper Statement
The statement can be in Urdu or English, and a sample statement is being shared below. Some important information has been highlighted which should be made part of the written statement.
The written statement should have the following information :
- Merchant Full Name
- Merchant Bank Name and Account number
- Exact Amount sent by merchant
- Your Full Name
- Your Bank Name and Account number
- Merchant Signature
- Oath Commissioner Stamp and Sign
Deposit Stamp Paper with Your Statement
With the above stamp paper you should have a copy of merchant CNIC and deposit it to your bank branch along with a covering letter , stating that your account may be reopened as the received amount was transferred with due accord and no dispute is raised by the sender.
The above mentioned procedure has been found to be effective, please be mindful this procedure can only be adopted if there is a bank chain dispute scam and no FIA notice on P2P etc is received.
