PRC Certificate ( Proceed Realization Certificate ) is an official document issued by banks in Pakistan that serves as proof of receipt and processing of foreign remittances or other funds into the country.

It authenticates that funds, such as export proceeds or workers’ remittances, have been received from abroad and converted into Pakistani Rupees (PKR). These certificates are increasingly issued digitally (e-PRC) for verification by financial entities.
It confirms that a specific foreign remittance has been received and processed by the bank.

It is a necessary document for beneficiaries to comply with regulations and for various agencies to verify the source of Remittance. PRC Certificate issued by Banks in Pakistan, acting on behalf of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), issues PRCs.

Various Freelancers and crypto users can get remittances if they utilize Direct Withdraw or SWIFT withdrawal options of Binance , Redotpay , Karsa and KAST etc. While it is good way to liquidate crypto assets while providing a remittance line credit on your bank.

Note: PRC is only issued to the remittance which is directly credited in PKR account from foreign currency. A common example is when funds are transferred from one foreign currency account (In abroad) to another foreign currency account (In Pakistan)—since these transactions do not involve conversion into Pakistani Rupees (PKR), a PRC is not issued in such cases. Banks will not issue PRC/ePRC on such transactions.
